Ocean Energy Pathway
Location: Manila, Philippines. Hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week in the Manila office.
Salary: up to ₱1,770,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Ocean Energy Pathway (OEP) is a global non-profit organisation. Our mission is to accelerate global offshore wind growth through programmes which support the energy transition, enhance marine ecosystems, and empower local communities.
We provide expert, independent support to governments and civil society to fast-track high ambition offshore wind energy. Through collaboration and engagement with leaders in policy, industry, and ocean stewardship, we support the development of an offshore wind sector that is sustainable, resilient and delivers lasting value for communities, economies and ecosystems.
Role overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-growing not-for-profit organisation that is playing a pivotal role in the continued growth of the offshore wind sector and the wider move towards net zero for 2050.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for and experience in the renewable energy sector. OEP is looking for a highly organised and reliable Project Associate to help manage projects and partnerships aligned with OEP’s annual strategic plan for the Philippines. This role will also look after in-country administration for the Philippines and provide support in the execution of activities such as events.
The Project Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and effective communication internally and externally to the organisation. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to make a significant impact on a growing organisation, in an area of critical importance for energy sustainability.
The role will primarily support the Senior Project Associate and Country Head of the Philippines, and collaborate with OEP’s Senior Leaders and UK-based Secretariat.

About you:
You’ll be a proactive Project Associate, Assistant, or Co-ordinator with proven experience in the energy sector. You’ll be a strong written and verbal communicator in both Tagalog and English, and enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of local and international colleagues and stakeholders.
Anticipating potential obstacles and needs comes naturally to you, and you initiate solutions to drive projects forward without needing to be asked. You’ll be highly organised and resourceful to balance competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, and pride yourself on the accuracy of your work.
