The Project Finance & Fundraising Administrator will play a pivotal role in the charity at a time of significant growth. With responsibility of processing income as a well as critical financial and data reporting to the management teams, external funders and partners. This role will suit a confident, dynamic and inquisitive individual.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual, who thrives on paying attention to detail and who will enjoy the challenge of a busy varied role.

The position within the finance team will work closely with the Fundraising and Marketing & Communications teams. The role will require you to work to deadlines and be a positive and supportive member of the team.

This is a temporary position available to cover a maternity leave within the team. The position is a fixed term contract that will run from November 2025 to February 2027 (15 months) and offers a great chance to gain experience and contribute to ongoing work.

Essential:

  • Financially minded with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy at all times
  • Highly organised with excellent customer service and administrative skills and able to work as part of a busy team.
  • A key player in the day-to-day operation of the Finance and Fundraising operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy including general administration, processing donations, answering telephones and emails.
  • Knowledge of, or experience in charity finance particularly donations, grant funding and restricted income.
  • Has excellent IT skills, especially in MS Office packages, with a particular strength in Excel
  • Knowledge of, or experience in using databases and accounts packages i.e., Raisers Edge.
  • Enthusiastic, positive and possess a commitment to provide a high-quality service
  • Organised and methodical with the ability to plan, prioritise and re-prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Have knowledge of GDPR
