The Ocean Habitat Restoration team, Blue Meadows, uses a holistic approach to seagrass protection, regeneration, and restoration at scale, delivering the UK’s largest seagrass restoration programme. Our five-year goal, ending in 2027, is to protect 700 hectares and develop a blueprint for large-scale restoration of this vital habitat.
We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable individual with a passion for protecting and restoring marine habitats to join our Habitat Restoration team as an intern. This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to gain practical experience in marine conservation while making a real difference to the planet. You must be flexible and happy to work in both lab and field environments. The successful candidate must also have excellent people skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and be able to engage with the public and collaborate with colleagues in other departments.
This is a 6-month, full time (37.5 hours) Mon-Friday unpaid internship. Flexibility is essential for this role.
