The Quinault Department of Fisheries is seeking a motivated, organized, skilled, and personable individual to provide technical expertise for Quinault management of salmon and steelhead stocks on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Required skills include data management, data analysis, quantitative science, and statistical literacy. Responsibilities include: monitoring and evaluation of fish runs and their status, forecasting salmonid run returns, evaluation of fisheries performance, preparing pre-season plans, producing in-season management recommendations for Quinault policy representatives, and preparing fishery management plans and interagency agreements.
