Position Title: Fisheries Technicians

Location: Quinault Division of Natural Resources (QDNR), Fisheries Department – Taholah, WA

Employment Status: Full-time, Permanent

Closing Date: Applications will be accepted until positions are filled

General Position Description:

Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled technical tasks relating to fisheries management. Assist in stream and clam bed surveys, brood stocking, catch sampling, marking and tagging fish, and recording field data in notebooks. Enter field data into computer. May operate independently for short periods, and on occasion provide group leadership during seasonal projects.

Salary and Benefits:

Up to $21.35/per hour DOQ
Full benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) with no premium for individuals, 401k w/ 5% employer match, 26-days paid leave, and 16 paid holidays

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent
Valid Washington State driver’s license.
Candidates must have the ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and rugged terrain.
