Are you passionate about using advanced numerical modelling to solve complex oceanographic challenges?
We are seeking an experienced Scientist to join our Project Consultancy and Operational Oceanography Teams within the Research and Innovation Hub, on a 12-month Fixed Term basis. This is a cross-functional role where you will collaborate with Ocean, Atmospheric, and Data Science teams to provide high-quality numerical modelling and analytical solutions. Your work will primarily focus on data analysis, code development, and scientific research to support a variety of consultancy and development projects world-wide, however you will also get the opportunity to be involved with the operational systems and teams. You will play a key part in ensuring MetService remains at the forefront of oceanographic developments and help maintain the continuity of our critical services.
