Position title:Director of Projects (DoP)

Location: Dunbar, East Lothian, UK/hybrid role

Type: Full-time permanent position

Salary: £65,000 per annum

Holiday: 32 days + birthday, incl. public holidays, increasing with service (per annum)

OSC is seeking an experienced Director of Projects (DoP) to lead its tendering team. The DoP will have a strong track record of working in offshore sectors, specifically renewables, construction, defence, oil and gas. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years project management experience, liaising with and building positive relationship with stakeholders and clients, as well as preparing and submitting tenders and proposals, marine licencing, EIAs, and client reporting.

Key responsibilities

Work closely with the Directors and other members of senior management to expand the staff and business within UK and internationally;
Work closely with other members of senior management to set and deliver business strategies;
Lead and mentor a team of consultants to produce timely, accurate, robust, and high-quality products and services;
Review and sign off reports, provide constructive feedback and coaching where required to achieve this;
Ensure that all outputs are delivered to the highest standard and technical quality, in line with timescales agreed with the client, and within budget

Required:

A degree (minimum 2:1) in a relevant business, economics or environmental discipline (business consultancy, marketing, marine biology/ecology, environmental science, etc);
Minimum of five years relevant commercial experience
