With a commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation, Lynker leverages cutting-edge technologies and scientific expertise to support the creation and delivery of improved operational weather forecasts and hydorgraphic surveys.
As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced GIS Specialist to join our growing team.

OCS manages an integrated suite of programs in hydrography and cartography to help protect life and property, support economic growth and development, and protect the environment in support of the overall mission to promote safe navigation. The OCS increasingly relies on providers to contribute data to supplement NOAAs hydrographic survey data collection. Within the Hydrographic Surveys Division (HSD), the External Source Data Team (ESD) plays a crucial role in augmenting NOAA's hydrographic survey data collection efforts. ESD is responsible for the critical tasks of vetting, managing, and cleaning data received from a diverse range of providers. All external source data managed by ESD directly feeds into the National Bathymetric Source (NBS) Program, a key component of NOAA's nautical chart modernization.
Support is needed by ESD to process external source data, including ensuring the quality, usability, and efficient integration of externally sourced bathymetry data into OCS navigation products.
