Development & Events Coordinator

Los Angeles Waterkeeper (LAW), a dynamic environmental nonprofit organization that fights for the health of the region's waters and communities, is seeking a highly organized development professional to join our team as Development & Events Coordinator. This part-time position provides immediate capacity in development operations and event coordination, supporting the Managing Director directly during an active period of organizational transition.
The Development & Events Coordinator will handle the operational backbone of LAW's fundraising and events program — donor database management, gift processing, donor acknowledgments, and event logistics support — freeing the Managing Director to focus on donor cultivation and other major fundraising priorities. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role well suited to a development professional who is highly organized, self-directed, and can contribute meaningfully from day one.
This position reports to the Managing Director.

Salary
This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Managing Director. Hours are approximately 20 per week, with an hourly rate of $35–$40 commensurate with experience.
