Ocean Job Board

The Local Catch Network (LCN) is a community-of-practice established in 2011, consisting of seafood harvesters, technical assistance providers, organizers, and researchers across North America. LCN focuses on strengthening local and regional seafood systems through community-supported fisheries and direct seafood marketing. With over 225 seafood businesses as members, LCN fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration to enhance the resilience of seafood systems, promoting accountability and trust within the network and to the public. The organization is based at the University of Maine and supported by the North American Marine Alliance, positioning itself as a key player in the sustainable seafood movement.
