Principal Artisan (KMFRI Grade 9), Latest Engineering Vacancies 2023,

Duties and responsibilities

  • Carry out advance installation in their field of specialisation.
  • Carrying out routine checks on electrical, mechanical works and equipment.
  • Interpreting drawings;
  • Supervision of works;
  • Recording and reporting activities to be taken for services.

Requirements for appointment/Persons Specification

  • At least six (6) years Relevant Experience as senior artisan;
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) of minimum mean grade ‘D+’ or its equivalent qualification from a craft Certificate from a recognised institution OR Government Trade Test Grade I in the respective field of duty;
  • Relevant Engineering Technician III certificate from a recognized institution in their respective fields;
  • Certificate in Computer Applications;
  • Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

  • Interpersonal skills.
