Principal Artisan (KMFRI Grade 9), Latest Engineering Vacancies 2023,

Duties and responsibilities

Carry out advance installation in their field of specialisation.
Carrying out routine checks on electrical, mechanical works and equipment.
Interpreting drawings;
Supervision of works;
Recording and reporting activities to be taken for services.

Requirements for appointment/Persons Specification

At least six (6) years Relevant Experience as senior artisan;
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) of minimum mean grade ‘D+’ or its equivalent qualification from a craft Certificate from a recognised institution OR Government Trade Test Grade I in the respective field of duty;
Relevant Engineering Technician III certificate from a recognized institution in their respective fields;
Certificate in Computer Applications;
Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Other Key Competencies and Skills

Organizational skills;
Communication skills;
Interpersonal skills.

Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations
Clearance/Compliance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority
Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
Clearance from recognized Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
