TITLE: Intern – Event Planning
REPORTS TO: Manager - Events & Corporate Partnerships
LOCATION: Ossining, NY; Hybrid schedule requiring 1-2 days in the office
DURATION: Spring Semester (Between January – June 2025)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Riverkeeper is looking for an Event Planning Intern to report to the Manager of Events & Corporate Partnerships. The Event Planning Intern will provide administrative and logistical support with planning and executing Riverkeeper’s fundraising and membership events.
This internship may be eligible for school credit; intern will receive $15 per hour for 12-18 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with planning and execution of fundraising and membership events, including:
- Summer Splash gala (sit down dinner), Concert in Central Park,
- Riverkeeper Sweep (river clean up) and NYC events
- Participate in event planning meetings
- Research potential sponsors for events
- Researching and ordering materials needed for events
- Input items on event website for silent auction
- Creating signage for silent auction items
- Day of event set up and breakdown

COMPENSATION
$15 per hour
