This position sits at the interface of science and decision-making. The successful candidate will develop, evaluate and apply advanced stock assessment models and ecosystem-based approaches while actively engaging with state and federal fisheries management processes, including collaboration with the State of Maine’s Department of Marine Resources (DMR), the New England Fishery Management Council (NEFMC), and the Atlantic States Marine Fish Commission (ASMFC).
