We are expanding and are in search of an experienced Electrical & Automation Engineer.

As our Electrical & Automation Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a highfunctioning team of chemists, material scientists, and power electronics engineers to investigate and optimise the fundamental principles behind our exhaust gas purification technology. In addition, you will contribute to and actively participate in the conception, design, and execution of research to address defined problems. We value trust, openness, and collaboration. Responsibilities Develop our technology with the core R&D team to speed up our large-scale implementation: • PLC and HMI programming and software testing • Electrical design of power distribution and control cabinets • BOM generation and execution of manufacturing with external subcontractors • Commissioning and hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and automation equipment (remote and on-site) • Plant control software deployment and testing together with R&D engineers • Preparation and updating product documentation (installation instructions, manuals, etc.)

Qualifications • BSc in Engineering (or related discipline) with a focus on Electrical and Automation systems • Field-proven experience in industrial automation and control • Fluent in IEC 61131-3 languages (CODESYS experience is a plus) • Skilled in using CAD tools for electrical cabinet design (Autocad Electrical, EEplan, ...) • Familiar with industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, ...) • Good knowledge of low-voltage and EMC directive • Experience with maritime specific rules and regulations is a plus • Basic understanding of industrial control system architectures (PID controller, feed-forward control)
