Continental Shelf Associates (CSA) is a marine environmental consulting firm that has served the environmental needs of the offshore energy industry in the U.S. and internationally since 1970. CSA’s five decades of experience from local rivers to the deep ocean includes sampling, monitoring, mapping, permitting, baseline surveys, impact assessment, mitigation, and restoration. CSA has conducted thousands of offshore projects in marine and coastal waters in the U.S. and in more than 70 countries.

Position Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will assist with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Location: Stuart, Florida

Responsibilities

  • Performs payroll processing and expense reimbursements, weekly
  • Manage weekly 401k and HSA contribution files
  • Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conducting employee onboarding and helps organize training & development
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience

  • A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required
  • At least one year of human resource experience preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, as needed.

Travel
Travel is not expected for this position.
