Founded in 1967, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is the largest independent conservation organization dedicated solely to saving the Bay. CBF fights for bold and creative solutions to pollution in the Chesapeake watershed, advocating for strong laws and regulations while restoring essential habitats through hands-on projects. The organization collaborates with government, business, and citizens to protect and restore the Bay, and also runs an environmental education program to empower residents to take action.
