Cellula is looking for a Project Manager to join our team and support product development programs and lead product delivery projects.
Cellula Robotics Ltd. is a world-leading marine technology company focused on changing the paradigm of subsea survey, science and security through modular, long range, autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) systems. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for all stages of the project from kickoff to project closing. The project team is drawn from engineering and other departments within Cellula. Your role is to lead the project, as part of one of the product’s programs, and ensure both client and internal requirements are met. You will be the primary customer point of contact during the project and will have the opportunities to travel internationally to oversee testing and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate your multi-disciplinary project team of engineers, developers, and technicians to deliver the project. This role is technically focused, but its most valuable skills are interpersonal – supporting your team in doing great work.
- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, requirements matrices, estimates, and resource plans
- Drive internal teams to deliver the project to customers on schedule and within scope
- Regularly prepare and present reports on project progress to key internal & external stakeholders
- Anticipate project challenges early and proactively devise risk mitigation strategies
- Evaluate project deliverable changes, and determine their impact on related and interdependent tasks & projects
- Perform analysis of schedule, regarding resources, deliveries, budgets, and task completion.
- Focus efforts on being present with your team, solving problems, getting designs finished, built, and functioning successfully

Required Skills & Experience
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and eligible for Government of Canada security screening
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and leadership skills
- Proactive and consultative management style
- Strong problem identification and solving skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with multi-discipline engineering teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with robotics, subsea, or similar industry
- Advanced skills working with project reports, schedules and budgets
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems integration
- Experience with autonomous robotics, underwater or maritime systems
- Experience working in ISO 9001 quality system organization
- Experience developing business cases
- Boating skills and knowledge
- Acoustic payload knowledge (sonars, survey, hydrographic, sonobuoys)
- PMP or PEng certification
