Cellula is looking to add a Mechanical Co-op to its Mechanical Engineering team to support its growing list of projects.

Cellula Robotics Ltd. is a world-leading marine technology company focused on changing the paradigm of subsea survey, science and security through modular, long range, autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) systems. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create Concepts and develop detailed designs for both large and small-scale projects
  • Generate and review drawings, calculations, and other documentation
  • Prepare drawings, schematics, reports and proposals as required
  • Prepare specifications for COTS components; find and evaluate suppliers
  • Work with project team to ensure on-time project completion
  • Assist in system assembly, integration, and troubleshooting
  • Strive to ensure quality and timely delivery of finished products to clients

Required Skills & Experience

  • Machine and mechanisms design
  • Working knowledge of drive and actuation technologies
  • 3D mechanical design
  • Mechanical assembly skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical documentation: specifications, requirements, test plans/reports, operator manuals etc.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines/ successful completion of deliverables
  • Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented
  • Team and customer service-focused
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, flexible
  • Thorough working knowledge of Solidworks software

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the subsea industry
  • Robotic systems design experience
  • Shop experience (forklift, scissor lift)
  • Analytical skills - Matlab, Mathcad
  • ISO9001 quality control

The position will be beginning in January 2026.
