CalHR Job Center: The CalHR Job Center, located at 1810 16th Street, Sacramento, CA 95811, will be open on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. Research Scientist Examinations: The Research Scientist series exams will be going offline starting January 8, 2026 by 8 a.m. Examinations for the new Research Scientist series are anticipated to be online Friday, January 30, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Generalist Series Classification Title Changes: The following Generalist series classification title changes are effective starting 1/1/2026:
Staff Services Analyst is now Analyst I;
Associate Governmental Program Analyst is now Analyst II;
Staff Services Manager I (Supervisory) is now Supervisor I;
Staff Services Manager II (Supervisory) is now Supervisor II;
Staff Services Manager II (Managerial) is now Manager I; and
Staff Services Manager III is now Manager II.
Health Facilities Evaluator Nurse Examination: The Health Facilities Evaluator Nurse exam will be going offline starting January 8, 2026 by 8 a.m. The examination for the new Nurse Surveyor classification is anticipated to be online Monday, February 2, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Personnel Technician Examinations: The Personnel Technician series exams will be going offline starting February 5, 2026 by 8 a.m. The new examinations are anticipated to be online Thursday, February 12, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Research Scientist Examinations: The Research Scientist series exams will be going offline starting January 8, 2026 by 8 a.m. Examinations for the new Research Scientist series are anticipated to be online Friday, January 30, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience.
