Job Description and Duties

Working under the supervision and general direction of the Manager (Senior Environmental Scientist, Supervisor) of the Energy, Ocean Resources and Federal Consistency Division, the Staff Services Analyst performs a variety of analytical tasks and carries out a variety of support services related to (a) implementing the administrative systems and processes of the division, and (b) providing technical support to the Division’s Director, Manager, and Environmental Scientists in the review of coastal development permit (CDP) applications, federal consistency submittals and other regulatory items for completeness and conformance with the Coastal Act. The incumbent also provides, on an as-needed basis, administrative, records management and meeting planning support for the agency as a whole.
