Position Summary

Builders Vision is seeking a qualified Investment Associate to join the Builders Vision Investment Team and support asset allocation, portfolio management, and strategy. The successful candidate will join a growing team working to cohesively manage a set of global, multi-asset class portfolios that include significant ESG and impact investments. The position will report to the Managing Directors on the team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career with exposure to portfolio management, strategy, and investments.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will apply superior analytical skills, curiosity, and attention to detail while being an effective team member. Specifically, you will:

  • Work with the Builders Vision CIO and other senior investment team members on day-to-day portfolio management responsibilities, including monitoring exposures, rebalancing, and performance monitoring.
  • Work with colleagues to develop and implement strategic asset allocations, portfolio construction frameworks, risk management, and benchmarking.
  • Help design strategies to integrate and evaluate ESG, Impact, and/or climate objectives.
  • Contribute to governance and process design to enhance the Investment Team’s institutionalization, including generating materials for Investment Committee and executive level discussions.
  • Provide general capacity throughout the entire investment process, including modeling commitment pacing, portfolio management, undertaking competitive market analyses, and completing & presenting research
  • Support colleagues on special projects such as thematic landscape analyses of new and existing investment theses, investment impact-related initiatives, and investment and impact reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a record of high academic achievement
  • MBA and / or CFA (or equivalent credential) highly preferred
  • 3-5 years of work experience, ideally in roles with project leadership and analytical responsibilities in related industries
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and multi-task
  • Comfort working in Excel, presenting concepts in PowerPoint, drafting reports in Word, and everyday use of calendar software, Experience with Salesforce a plus.

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; specific job-related experience and training; job location, licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Builders Vision, we apply a total rewards philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. Expected annual base salary range for this role is 105k-137k, plus this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary long-term incentive award, and benefits.
