Salary Range: $51,000 – $62,000 annually (commensurate with experience) + benefits

Position Overview
For over 50 years, the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre (BMSC) has supported world-class education and research on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Through immersive, hands-on learning experiences grounded in rich coastal ecosystems and strengthened by partnerships with the Huu-ay-aht First Nations, BMSC’s mission is to inspire transformational relationships with the ocean through science.
The Field Trip Program Coordinator (FTPC) plays a key role in delivering BMSC’s award-winning Field Trip Program, which provides multi-day educational experiences for students of all ages. The FTPC oversees group bookings, develops itineraries, and serves as the primary liaison between visiting groups and BMSC operations. Reporting to the Education Manager, the FTPC works collaboratively with other BMSC coordinators and supervises a team of Marine Science Educators to ensure the seamless delivery of exceptional field-based programming.
