About this exciting opportunity

AIMS are seeking casual employees to provide professional back-up support for our Townsville Reception for periods of relief work (leave, standdown days etc). As the welcoming face of AIMS Townsville Headquarters, working within established procedures, the Reception and Administration Officer role delivers a diverse range of administrative services and front office asks including:

  • Operating independently to provide regular and adhoc Reception relief;
  • Providing a warm and professional welcome AIMS’ Townsville Head Office visitors; and
  • Providing front of office support to the Facilities and Transport teams within established procedure.

About you

To be successful in this role you are able to deliver quality outcomes while working both independently and in a collaborative team environment, while maintaining a high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality. You are experienced with a variety of administrative technology and office equipment, including Microsoft 365 applications and you have strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of people, including the ability to provide exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner. Experience using Technology One including Finance, Payroll and ECM modules is highly desirable.

You will be seeking casual employment and understand the hours and requirements of this role will be varied based on relief requirements.

  • AIMS AOF Level 2 salary ($41.10 to $48.96 per hour), inclusive of 25% casual loading
  • Casual opportunity (Provide relief and adhoc hours up to 29 days)

  • 9-day fortnight, enjoy a long weekend each fortnight
