About this exciting opportunity

We are seeking someone passionate about people and great service to join our People and Culture team for a 2-year fixed term opportunity. In this customer centric and fast-paced role, you will deliver a range of internal recruitment services and generalist HR administrative tasks to support our diverse and evolving customer needs. A typical day will include:

  • Acting as first point of contact to internal and external enquiries (employees, managers and candidates), ensuring responsive and excellent service through prioritisation, escalation and resolution of enquiries.
  • Creating advertising materials to attract candidates, using various sites, including undertaking candidate searches using recruitment platforms.
  • Administering a range of recruitment activities including shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, generating letters of offer, facilitating labour hire arrangements and employee onboarding.
  • Partnering with hiring managers on their recruiting needs, giving advice and guidance on best practice end to end recruitment activities and processes.
  • Maintaining employee record databases (HRIS, ECM and e-recruitment), ensuring accurate transactions, documentation and supporting approvals.
  • Performing generalist HR administration tasks including updates to position and employee details, offboarding task facilitation, records keeping, position description review and assessment, and shared inbox management.

About you

We are looking for someone with proven experience in fast-paced administrative roles that deliver high levels of customer and candidate satisfaction. Experience delivering end-to-end recruitment processes or services would be highly advantageous, but not essential to your success in this role. You will have the capabilities to deliver a broad range of recruitment/HR administrative activities and display an ability to focus on solutions and remain calm under pressure. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities, with excellent attention to detail, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and rapport quickly with AIMS staff and candidates, and negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • An ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion, and self-manage to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to work well independently and as part of a wider team, with a passion to learn and develop.
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft 365 suite and systems to support your work. Experience with HRIS systems such as TechOne and/or e-recruitment systems would be advantageous.

  • AIMS AOF Level 3 (3.1-3.5) salary ($76,454 to $86,147 per annum) plus 15.4% superannuation
