Headquartered in Victoria since 1978, Archipelago is an award-winning employer with offices in British Columbia’s busiest fishing ports, Alaska, Oregon and Australia. We maintain a staff of 120+ industry professionals that includes hardware and software developers, biologists, at-sea observers, dockside monitors, technicians, and corporate services.
At Archipelago, our culture and our people are our biggest focus. We are proud to offer a safe, healthy, and respectful workplace while working towards our vision to improve the sustainability of our natural resources for generations to come.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Product Engineering team as a Product Manager, Software, to help define our product vision, our requirements, and our strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with our Manager, Software Development, our internal Product Owners, and our Executive team to ensure our products meet our customer needs and business objectives.
Our software products are the backbone of our FishVue EM suite of products and are utilized globally by thousands of clients. Coupled with our on-vessel hardware solutions, our software tools help fisheries regulators and industry members ensure sustainable fishing practices, protect endangered species, and combat illegal fishing.
Believe it or not, our company name can be difficult for some people to pronounce. We love hearing the variations from everyone who is brave enough to attempt it – so do your best!
