- Service work with testing and troubleshooting of equipment
- General service and maintenance of cabinets and cameras
- Washing and cleaning material from field trips
- Preparation of cables and installation of various components
- Calibration of cameras
- Handling of fish during field experiments
- Technical support of field research activities
- Data entry and annotation
- Communicating with farmers and other researchers
Qualifications
- Previous experience as working with fish would be preferred but not necessary
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong empathy, excellent interpersonal skills, positive, engaging
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
- Basic Tech skills, Excel experience is a plus
- Ability to travel 2-3 days away from Bergen sporadically
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, writing and speech
- Physically able to lift around 25kg
- Boat driver's license preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license is required as the position involves some driving
