Position Overview:
The Director of B2B Marketing & Sales Enablement will be responsible for developing and executing lead generation strategies to fuel revenue growth for our plastic credit and offset business. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying, attracting and converting high-value corporate leads using a mix of digital campaigns, cold and warm email and Linkedin outreach, account-based marketing
(ABM), trade shows, partnerships, and outbound sales support. She/he will also be responsible for supporting the partnership team with all necessary marketing and sales assets and campaigns to drive leads and grow business on an annual basis. This is a revenue-driven role with a strong focus on pipeline growth, conversion rates, and sales enablement. The role will work closely with the sales team to ensure they have the right tools, content, and strategies to drive deals forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Demand Generation
- Develop and execute timely and appropriate, multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, content, paid media, events, partnerships) over the course of the year to generate and nurture high-quality B2B leads.
- Optimize lead generation funnels and actions, track and measure the success of different approaches and campaigns to ensure efforts are delivering the results and appropriate RIO on investments as well as scoring and nurturing to ensure prospects are sales-ready.
- Implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to engage and convert high-value corporate partners.
- Identify strategic partnerships, platforms, tools and approaches that can expand the pipeline and drive inbound interest.
- Partner with sales to refine the ideal customer profile (ICP) and expand our target market.
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the Partnership webpages and associated platforms.
- Assist with the design, development and promotion of the 4ocean Business Impact Portal with developers.
- Oversee the production and growth and impact of the 4ocean podcast. Attract global business, marketing and sustainability leaders to the show to build an audience and grow brand and reputation in the space.
Trade Show & Event Marketing
- Research and identify high-value trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events for lead generation.
- Develop and execute pre-event, during-event, maximize visibility, booth engagement, and post-event engagement campaigns to optimize conversion rates.
- Oversee lead capture and follow-up processes to ensure trade show leads move through the sales funnel efficiently.
- Track event ROI and optimize future event participation based on performance data.
- Drive lead generation through industry trade shows, conferences, and B2B networking events.
Sales Enablement & Conversion Optimization
- Create and refine sales collateral (case studies, whitepapers, pitch decks, one-pagers) that align with buyer pain points and decision-making criteria. Ensure that quality assets and decks are created in a timely
- fashion (within 48 hours) to enable the team to be super responsive and close deals quickly.
- Develop and oversee automated lead nurturing workflows to improve conversion rates and track and measure effectiveness and ROI of actions to deliver results expected.
- Optimize CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot) to enhance lead tracking and pipeline visibility.
- Work with sales leadership to streamline lead handoff processes and improve collaboration between teams.
Go-To-Market Strategy & Positioning
- Develop compelling B2B messaging and positioning for the plastic credits and offset program as well as our other program offerings
- Conduct market research to refine our value proposition and identify new growth opportunities and incorporate these findings into our assets, pitch decks and communication campaigns.
- Drive thought leadership and educational content to establish 4ocean as a leading partner for businesses in the sustainability, ESG and plastic offset solutions space.
- Develop and implement an annual calendar of timely and appropriate messaging and communications to support the partnership team over the course of the year.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Own and report on key marketing key [performance indicators: marketing qualified leads, sales qualified leads, pipeline velocity, cost per lead (CPL), and ROI on marketing initiatives.
- A/B test campaigns, content, and sales strategies to continuously optimize performance and track impact and results.
- Use data-driven insights to refine marketing spend allocation for maximum impact.
