Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday (Office based, potential for a day a week remote working)
The role
The MBA is looking for an experienced Finance Manger to join our team, being office based at our iconic waterfront site in Plymouth. As well as supervising the Finance Assistants, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial analysis for projects on a monthly basis, preparing and submitting grants, contract claims and invoices, and completing financial processes to ensure the smooth fiscal operation of the MBA including cash flow forecasting, payroll review, and liaising with auditors and external parties as required.
The successful applicant will be a proactive analytical thinker with good communication skills and a problem-solving approach. They will have extensive experience of reviewing and analysing financial data and experience of managing a small team.
Salary and benefits
- Salary based on experience.
- 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
- 3 Privilege Days given by the MBA (used during festive closure week)
- Pension scheme – the MBA will contribute 10% of basic salary into a defined contribution scheme with staff making a 3% minimum contribution. The MBA will match additional employee contributions up to an additional 5%.
