Reporting to the Sr. Director, Membership Marketing at PADI Worldwide, we are seeking an experienced marketer to help develop and support our global professional-level member acquisition and retention initiatives. You will work closely with the Global Brand and Membership team and Consumer Marketing team creating acquisition journeys and campaigns to encourage more people to pursue their dream of becoming a PADI Instructor, Assistant Instructor or Divemaster. You’ll also help develop onboarding journeys, nurture campaigns and benefits to encourage members to pursue professional-level continuing education, strengthen affinity and increase member retention. In this role, you will play a critical role in growing the membership and member benefits.

What You Will Do

Member Acquisition:  Develop member acquisition campaigns and initiatives to support the growth of PADI’s Membership.  Work collaboratively with PADI’s Brand team to develop the messaging and creative to support member acquisition campaigns  Work collaboratively with the consumer marketing team to develop and execute a targeted member acquisition paid ad strategy including SEM, remarketing and social  Work collaboratively with the public relations team to develop and execute a targeted member acquisition strategy across PADI’s earned media channels  Work collaboratively with the consumer marketing team to develop and execute a targeted member acquisition strategy across PADI’s owned marketing channels including: email, web, social, print, and more  Create, review, update, and optimize new member acquisition journeys across PADI print and digital channels  Monitor, track and report on all acquisition campaigns continuously refining efforts to optimize conversions  Collaborate with customer-facing teams including Sales, Instructor Development and Customer Relations to identify trends and opportunities for increasing member acquisition and develop B2B marketing tools to support member growth

Member Retention:  Develop member retention campaigns and initiatives to support the overall PADI Membership goals  Create, review update, and optimize PADI Member retention journeys and nurture campaigns across PADI print and digital channels  Support annual PADI membership renewal campaign through content creation and review, coordination with product team, and essential project management functions  Assist with the development of various member surveys to measure member satisfaction rates and provide feedback for future benefits  Leverage propensity modelling to reduce membership churn  Monitor, test and report on all retention campaigns continuously refining efforts to optimize conversions  Write member blogs, brochure, ad and email copy promoting PADI membership benefits and opportunities  Collaborate with customer-facing teams including Sales, Instructor Development and Customer Relations to develop B2B marketing tools that support member retention and Prolevel Continuing Education

General:  Work closely with Brand and Regional Marketing teams to ensure all brand requirements are adhered to and regional customs are respected.  Works collaboratively with PADI’s Regional Marketing Teams to execute global member acquisition and retention initiatives on a local and regional level  Support the four corporate primary objectives: o Safe and responsible diver acquisition and retention o PADI Member acquisition and retention o Financial prosperity o Global operational alignment in message, products, systems and procedures  Support PADI’s Mission to Seek Adventure. Save the Ocean, and the organization’s Pillars for Change: o Ocean Conservation o Industry Sustainability o People & Humanity

What You Will Need To Be Successful:  Completed a relevant marketing/communications degree.  2+ years experience in a marketing/communications role required.  Digital marketing skills including SEO & SEM, digital advertising, email marketing, social media marketing required.  Experience building customer acquisition and/or onboarding journeys required.  Familiarity with WordPress or similar program preferred.  Business acumen and ability to adhere to budgetary requirements.  Excellent writing skills and knowledge of English grammar required.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of co-workers, clients, customers and the general public.  Bilingual with Spanish, Portuguese or French is also desirable.  Strong organization, project development and management skills with attention to detail.  Dedication to customer service and satisfaction.  PADI scuba diving certification preferred.  PADI Professional certification highly regarded.
