The MSC Iberian team is currently looking to recruit a Senior Communications and Marketing Manager to join the team.

As Senior Communications and Marketing Manager you’ll have the opportunity to lead on the implementation of MSC's communication and marketing strategy in Iberia and to help deliver the MSC’s overall goals.

This is a senior position, and the post holder will lead the Iberian team’s marketing and communications aiming to build and reinforce the organisation’s credibility, profile and value proposition in Spain and Portugal.

We work with a broad range of partners, from fisheries and supply chain companies to some of the biggest names in the retail, as well as conservation charities and leading marine scientists.

Communicating our work to this wide range of stakeholders, as well as inspiring the public, is a vital part of our mission. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic team player who can bring significant, proven experience to our Iberian team.

To be successful in this role, besides sharing our enthusiasm for our oceans, our ideal candidate will also have the following key skills / experience:

An advanced degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Journalism, marketing or communications discipline.
Experience leading, developing and delivering integrated communications strategies across the full range of communications channels.
Proven track record managing integrated marketing and Public Relations campaigns with multiple partners or similar.
Experience in NGOs comms or comms in the seafood sector.
Some experience working in, or with, the Iberian fishing sector, retail sector or an environmental organization desirable.
Knowledge of third-party certification schemes and the role of eco-labelling is an advantage.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
