Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project accounting experience
  • Account receivable billing/invoice processing
  • Reconcile G.L. balances, job costs, journal entries, and bank statements.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding payments.
  • Perform specific month-end close responsibilities as assigned within the timeframe of the close process.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Analyze costs and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other M.S. Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Must have flexibility and the ability to multi-task priorities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines on time
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of computers and standard software packages
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • At least one year of experience preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, as needed.
