The California Ocean Protection Council (OPC) is hiring an Administration and Finance Manager to lead OPC’s grants and contracts administration, budgets, fiscal drills and analysis, accounting, and other administrative duties, as needed.

Applicants should have experience managing state and organizational budgets, accounting, processing invoices, and FI$CAL (including purchase orders, reconciling FI$Cal and departmental reports). Strong attention to detail, high-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks is a must. Experience with state bond funds and project management is preferred but not required.

This position is considered Remote-Centered, which means the incumbent would telework 50% or more of the time within a work month from an alternate work location. The incumbent can telework with a management approved telework agreement and schedule. OPC staff are required to work from the office in Sacramento a minimum of two days a month.
